Simple Lil Thing

Before Emerson came home we of course talked to Stratton often about babies and just how exciting and fun a new baby is. I had decided after a lot of thought that I would get Stratton a baby doll of his own. I found the perfect baby doll at target for fifteen dollars that I could use to teach Stratton how to care for his own baby. The whole plan would be for him to want to care for his baby while I cared for mine. We could work together and keep him involved and interested at the same time. Let me tell you , it has been the greatest toy that I have ever given him. He absolutely loves his little baby doll. He has named her "Emma" and takes care of her like she is alive and breathing. He feeds, bathes, suctions her nose, gives her medicine, dresses, changes her diapers and every other care that he sees me do for Emerson.


He is going to make an Excellent Father one day.
A Few weeks ago I made a Moby wrap for my self and it is amazing . I carry Emerson around all day in it and am able to get my daily list accomplished and hold him close to me at the same time. It really has made all the difference in the world! Emerson will not let me put him down even for two seconds so my Moby wrap has been a life saver. Needless to say Stratton also wanted one for his baby so I made one for him and "Emma" and he will carry her around in it for several hours straight. I think it is adorable when he takes her outside while wearing his little Moby wrap and says, "Emma , wanna Vroom Vroom ride?"
