Swimming

Today we went swimming , just me and the kiddos ! Moving from David's Parents full acre of a yard to an apartment has been a huge transition for Stratton. Stratton used to run outside any time he wanted and explore for hours on end . He loved it and now he is couped up in an apartment and can't go out to play unless we all get ready and plan a trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

It is absolutely necessary for Stratton to play outside at least once a day or else he goes from this...

To this...

Then I mention the idea , " Let's go swimming"
and he quickly changes to his sweet little self
patting Emerson on the head saying, " yeah Emerson swimming , fun!"Can we say teething?
( Gotta love this stage, slobbering all of the time)
Which reminds me of something funny that happened on Sunday. I was in Relief Society and a very well dressed lady sitting next to me asked if she could hold Emerson. I said sure and she began holding him for a little while . I was watching nonchalantly when I saw a huge string of drool slide right down the front of her shirt. It was quite funny as well as a little embarrassing, after all her obviously expensive silk shirt was probably ruined. I offered her the cure all of moms "a baby wipe". This is exactly why I can never go anywhere with a clean shirt on! It just isn't possible when you have children.
