That Stings

Stratton was playing one minute and then the next minute he was running frantically inside holding his hand screaming . Ouch Ouch Ouch I got a splinter . I looked at it and couldn't find a splinter in his finger anywhere. I didn't think anything of it until Dean mentioned that maybe he had been stung by something. David asked Stratton what happened and where he got the splinter and he told us that he was lifting a brick up by the chicken coop and that the splinter came from the brick. We knew at that point he had been stung most likely by a scorpion. David went outside and asked Stratton to show him the brick which he then flipped over and sure enough there was scorpion underneath . Lousy scorpion stung my little guy! Stratton was so tough and funny after he found out it was a scorpion he said . "I am sure glad it was a scorpion Mom and not a splinter , isn't that great ? "
That night he woke up a couple time complaining of his arm being numb and right after he got stung it hurt for a few hours but after that he was perfectly fine.

Charlotte and Emerson were playing on the bed
Charlotte adores Emerson and thinks it is so funny when he blows Strawberries on her belly . I think it is pretty cute too !
