I have plenty to catch up on and a very short time frame to work within (Emerson does not sleep much (from 11-5) during the night so I have a small time frame to sleep).
First things first
EMERSON IS HOME!!!
That is right we finally brought Emerson home on Monday, April 26 . What an incredible day! I had so many emotions when the moment finally came. I thought I was ready but when the nurse took his last monitors off I began to panic.
As I carefully buckled him into his car seat and carried him out the doors . . . I was crying and saying over and over again , " We are really doing this. " I was overwhelmed with joy and fear all at the same time.

Stratton is so cute and a GREAT big brother just as I expected.

What a mix of emotions! I'll bet you are SOOO exhausted because he's not sleeping well, but are thrilled he's next to you. How precious to see Stratton loving his little brother.
I love the first picture of Emerson. It hardly looks like the same baby that was in the hospital! He looks like a Who from Who-ville; too darling!
Can hardly wait to see you guys! Duane told me he's going to play Renegade all day, every day... oh boy! We'll be at my Mom's though I have a feeling Duane's gonna be at his parents most the time and probably just fall asleep over there on the couch every night. He really deserves a vacation.
