The Difference

If you don't believe in Miracles , you will after you read Emerson's story
I just have to share with all of you how thankful I am for my Heavenly Father and the many many blessings that he has given us this year. Each time I look at Emerson I am just so amazed at the long road he had to endure. I can not express how thankful I am for Miracles and answers to prayers. My heart is over flowing with gratitude and love for Heavenly Father and his wonderful plan he has for each of us. He knows us individually and loves us.I wanted to reflect for a minute on the first 7 months of Emerson 's life and share with you our own miracle.

From the depths of despair in the NICU for over 100 days...
To coming home with horrible , awful jaundice
You can see how horribly yellow he is and the funny thing is, at the time I didn't even notice it.
People would always comment on how yellow he was and I started to become sensitive about it. I really did not think he was that yellow. I now realize that he was very yellow and it is now hard to believe that I didn't notice it at the time. I was just so happy to be able to hold him in my arms and bring him home that I didn't care in the least what he looked like ...
It is true "Love is blind"
And here he is today a happy , sweet and beautiful baby boy

Emerson we Love you and are so proud of your strength and progress.

Oh, he is just too cute! Look at that smile, it looks just like Strattons especially in the bottom picture. It looks like he's holding his head up real well. We need to catch up!

He is beautiful! What a cute little guy and strong little spirit you have on your hands. The miracles of the Lord are endless if we just take the time to see. :)

Miracles happen and I'm so glad you shared yours! What a happy little baby!!!!! I strongly suggest getting yourself a little necklace or keepsake for yourself for surviving such an ordeal. It'll remind you of how strong you are and remind you to keep going whenever a smaller trial arises! (My necklace has a little anchor symbol on it, not just to remind me of the miraculous-ending near-drown, but because I want to remember that my Heavenly Father is that constant unseen anchor in my life.) Just a thought! I am so sorry you had to go though what you did and I am so relieved that this outcome lets you keep your baby too! What lucky moms are we!!!
