Graduate

Today was Emerson's very special day ! Today was the St. Joseph's NICU Picnic! The picnic was for all the babies that graduated from the NICU. There were over 4000 people that attended and I was surprised to see babies and kids of all ages who had been treated at St. Josephs NICU.
I am not sure who was more excited for the picnic Emerson or I ? I was thrilled to get to see the best of the best nurses that took such great care of Emerson. I truly believe that Love and God makes a baby that small thrive when nothing else seems in their favor. Here are a couple of the nurses that gave Emerson all the Love that he needed .

Thank you Margaret , Carlene and Darcy I owe everything to you . David , Stratton and I couldn't imagine life being complete without Emerson. I am absolutely crazy about my two boys!
Emerson , Margaret was so happy to see you today. She was impressed at your size and said you still had the same lil' nose. It was very touching because you didn't remember her face but when she talked we could both tell you recognized her voice. Darcy thought your coloring looked great and you've become quite a chunk!
Emerson, Darcy adores you!
The Picnic was at Kiwani Park in Tempe and they had so many fun things for the kids. They had several bounce houses, pony rides , snow cones and much more.
Stratton had a wonderful time ...This was Stratton's first snow cone and a minute after he started eating it I heard him say OUCH my head.
