Martin Luther King Jr. Day at our house was a celebration of the day off. We were at David's parents house and David was pulling Stratton all around the yard when he said , " I know what we can do today". David suggested that we take lunch to the very top parking garage at the airport and watch the planes land and take off. It was such a fun idea and I knew right away that Stratton and Emerson would love it . Daddies always come up with the best ideas. Stratton couldn' t have been more excited while we sat in the back of the truck at the edge of the wall and watched the planes come and go . It was as close as he has ever been to an airplane and man was he thrilled. Stratton did not want to leave the parking garage .

Ah yes, the airport, our kids love this too! I'm glad you guys got to get out! We should do more together on days off like this...
