I have always loved Easter ! I Love that we are given a day just for celebrating our savior. I love the family traditions that Easter brings.A few days before Easter David and I along with our friends Cara and Jeff and their two children went to Sycamore creek and played in the foot deep water. We hid Easter eggs and Stratton and Mckenna had a lot of fun exploring together. It is so awesome having friends with the same age kids as us . It makes for a lot of fun play dates together!
The water was so perfect for the kids! It was only about a foot deep in the deepest spot and had lots of little fish swimming around it. We caught several fish and put them in a bucket and the kids of course loved that . Emerson was too funny and had no fear at all of the water a couple times I found him blowing bubbles in the water and I cringed... Yuck!
On Easter day we went over to Audra and Justin's house and celebrated with David's family. Justin made delicious meat as always and we enjoyed spending time with family at their house.

Are those your Easter eggs? They are so cute! I love the simplicity of them, easy and not too distracting to look at.

Ok so I just realized that you created a new blog name (since your other one that's on my blog roll doesn't exist anymore). I searched you out by finding one of your past comments on my blog and I've had so much fun looking through all these posts I've missed over the last few months. You take such awesome pictures! BTW I must demand that you invite us next time you do something fun like Sycamore Creek. I've been wanting to take the kids there for a while!
