Cabin With Friends

This past weekend was too much fun ! David and I and our three little ones went up to Show Low and spent the weekend at the cabin . We invited Cara and Jeff Jones and their two little ones to come with us and it was a fantastic time. We all got up there on Friday early evening and then came home on Sunday late afternoon. It was great to get away I enjoyed all of the girl conversations and late nights that Cara and I had . I always thought Cara and Jeff were great but the more time I spend with them and the more I learn about who they are I LOVE THEM! ! ! I also love that our kids are the exact same ages, all three of our kids are just weeks apart . Stratton and McKenna who are the same age are so fun to watch together and they both love playing and pretending. The entire weekend Cara and I hardly saw Stratton and McKenna because they were off entertaining each other.

The funniest story of this weekend went like this ...

Stratton was following McKenna up the ladder to the loft . He was following very closely and so her petite little behind was in his face. I heard Stratton say , "ewwww, what is that smell"? Mckenna giggled and said," oh I tooted" . Stratton laughed and continued to follow her up the ladder .It really was the cutest thing and both of their reactions were priceless. He loves Mckenna and claims that she is his girl friend because they "hold hands" :) 

There was just enough snow left to go sledding and Mckenna and Stratton are at the perfect age to enjoy climbing the hill over and over again and sliding down. They would race to the bottom and Stratton would say , " you wanna go again " ? 

 

 

 I love how confident McKenna was . She was sure that she was strong enough to pull Stratton up the hill . 

 Emerson wasn't quite sure about sledding and only wanted to go down with Daddy.

 These snowballs were ice balls and they hurt bad!
