David has a remote control gas truck that I got him last year for Christmas
and he loves it and so do both our boys . They will watch him drive it in the
backyard or down at the retention basin near his parents. This particular day
the boys and David created a ramp in the yard and they were jumping his truck
over it . The truck goes up to 65 mph and weighs around 50 lbs. Don't ask me
why but somehow they convinced me to lay down in front of the ramp and trust
that David could sucessfully ramp his truck over me without it hitting me in
the head. I haven't done something so dangerous in who knows how long and I
still can't believe I fell for it this particular day .
Also, at Savers I found a kite which come to find out was two kites . This
was the boys first kite and today was also one of the few days that it was
windy enough to attempt to fly a kite. Growing up in the mountains there was
always enough wind to fly a kite. This was an activity that my brother and I
often enjoyed. Stratton did great and ran fast enough around the yard that the
kite would fly behind him just right.

Looks like monsoon weather! My kids love their kites, too! So fun!
