Barbara had ordered a wooden ice cream maker which you turn a handle to
make the ice cream. It was a lot of work but with everyone helping it didn't
seem so bad . Each of the boys took a turn or two and the adults all did their
part as well . The ice cream was delicious and well worth all of the effort .
Tristen had his 3rd birthday party and invited all of the cousins to come and celebrate . The pinata was a big hit :)
These boys really do have way too much fun together . One morning Angie put this goo in the swimming pool and the boys had a blast . It looked pretty gross to me but they didn't seem to mind one bit .For his birthday Tristen got some sort of solution that when mixed with water makes the bath feel gooey . Later we were sure it was similar to that which is in baby diapers that absorbs the liquid.
Watching a cartoon to try and settle down right before bedtime. Does it look like it is working? Swim party at Don's house . When there is a swim party it always calls for a GREAT time!
This picture is so candid and complete chaos but I think that is what makes me smile when I look at it . Dia's Mom was nice enough to snap the shot but it was such a funny experience trying to get everyone gathered and the picture took much longer then we had all anticipated.
One day we decided to take the jet skis and spend a day at the lake . This
was a particullary fun trip at the lake because David decided to bring the
tubes and we took turns riding behind the jet skis. It was much harder to get
on the tubes then I had remembered from my college days. I guess that is what
three kids and 5 years of marriage will do to you . Stratton and Kalvin enjoyed
being pulled and looked like two little bobble heads in the tubes .
Water Fight !
Kalvin and Stratton organized there own band and played a concert for all who were willing to come outside and listen .
