Happenings of September :
We seriously have the sweetest cat . I am not a big cat fan but this cat is the sweetest most loving cat I have ever seen . Our kids are really sweet to him but he just adores Stratton and Emerson .
Charlotte he really isn't sure of quite yet . He will lay just close enough to her and wag his tail as if he is teasing . She will try and grab his tail and he will just keep wagging just out of reach of her tiny fingers.
Charlotte turned 9 Months old .
I just love having a girl !
Look at that pitiful face :(
I still can't decide what color her eyes are . Usually at this age a babies eyes are pretty well pronounced . I think they will be a very dark blueish gray color . . .
Charlotte is fun , she is crawling everywhere and of course she loves to be held. I always think it is funny when babies are transitioning from rolling to crawling to walking then to jumping and running. Each time I find myself thinking that they will quite whining and not want to be held so much when they gain a little more independence . Yeah that never works out then they whine for other reasons and the cycle goes around and around again.
Simply,Charlotte just loves to be held !!!
Stratton started school again and Emerson had to wear his backpack just like his big brother on the first day back to preschool .
Emerson wasn't sure what he wanted to be for halloween . One day while we were at the store he saw this costume and his decision was made .
Wolverine was the answer . He looks so darn cute and he loved those big muscles . Everyday a month before Halloween he would put his costume on and play superheros with Stratton.
This girl got her first pair of flip flops and she loves them .
During September we spent a few days at the cabin:
I found Emerson painting his nails with Charlotte's polish . He wasn't embarrassed one bit and was quite proud of his pink fingers.
What kid doesn't love glow sticks .
David found these long glowsticks for a very discounted price . They were so much fun because the tube they came in became a perfect sword . We could cut two in half and make a glowing sword stick. The boys loved them .
This girls facial expressions kill me ! Too funny :)
Stratton decided to keep his sword in his belt loops so he would be prepared for battle . He had it all planned out and this is him explaining it to me.
Rub Dub Dub Two Little Boy's in the Tub...
Stratton is quite a little jokester lately . This was 100% his idea and he came up with it all on his own. We were leaving from a lunch at Oregano's and one of Stratton's favorite things to do is pick up the newspapers and ads wherever he can find them. He found one outside of the restaurant and was looking through it in the car . He said, " Mom, why is Dad wearing a pink tutu in this magazine?"
The picture did look a little like David except David is much more handsome with his shirt off ! Stratton was laughing and when he got home he clipped the picture out of the magazine and clued it onto David's drivers license . We all thought this was pretty clever and very funny !
Angie put together a cute gift for Dean for Father's Day . All of the Grand kids held one letter and then the end present was a compilation of all of the kids and it said We Love You Grandpa!
Too cute !
Of course we have to add a trip to the zoo. This was especially fun because the boys brought their bikes and those hills were very fun to ride now.
One of the rarest sights ever !
All three kids asleep in the car at the same time .

I am simply amazed at what a calm, easy going cat Memphis is! We have sadly traumatized our cat for life, I'm sure. He doesn't want anything to do with the kids, ever!
What a cute grumpy face Charlotte makes and that picture of her with the glow sticks is so fun too!
I can't believe how big Stratton is in his school backpack! Today I've been going through boxes to get our house decluttered and came across my boxes of printing paper (the big paper) and found a picture of Stratton when he was a baby. Remember when we took those baby pictures outside Mom and Dad's house? And now he's so big! Are we really getting older too????
What a creative imagination Stratton has (got it from him Mamma!) that he put David's new license together. Too funny!
Hope everything is going well with buying your house so soon! I'm excited for you guys!
