Boys

I can't say the entire weekend was great but I will say the first half was wonderful. Our weekend mainly consisted of tractors , tractors, and more tractors. Stratton is crazy about the old rusty John Deere tractor that is kept at the cabin . He loves it and always has. Recently he has convinced him self that Grandpa Ellsworth bought the tractor just for him. Stratton will often tell people that he has a tractor but needs to park it at the cabin in "Sow Low". I go along with it because why not let him believe that he is a very lucky boy. What boy doesn't dream of having their very own tractor?
Stratton really was too cute because he would keep his cap gun carefully placed on the front of the tractor. When he would see bears, tigers, and monkeys he would quickly grab the gun and fire away.
The weather was in the 40's but he didn't mind one bit
Emerson on the other hand was not interested in the cold weather and he found his fun inside.
He loved the basketball hoop and thought it was so funny when the balls would roll into his lap.
Now for the second half of the weekend
first off I must have gotten food poisoning because on Saturday night about 8:00 I started throwing up and could not stop until 7 the next morning. It was unbelievable and I have never had my head stuck in a toilet for so long. I couldn't even keep down my own saliva ...yuck I know TMI . It was awful and for the record don't eat at Dominoes Pizza. So , anyways we stayed in Show Low for an extra night so I could recuperate and luckily we did. On Sunday evening I got a text message saying that my Mom had been rushed to the hospital by ambulance for a heart attack. It was a relief to still be at the cabin and close to the hospital. David and I went to the hospital and there she was in the ER . She looked good and was awake and talking . I was relieved to see her up and well. It was very scary , they ran tests and kept her over night. Thankfully she is stable enough to be disharged and is home now. We will continue to pray that the tests come back normal and her heart is strong.

Stratton really does love that tractor doesn't he?! You are such a great mom to help his imagination grow! There have been many times I hoped to be more like you in helping my boys dream and imagine. Thanks for that example. Emerson is getting so big! What a cutie...
I hope your mom is alright!

Yuck, sorry about the food poisoning, but not my beloved Dominoes!!! It must have been from somewhere else...or it's just the Dominoes in Show Low. I can't quit the new crust!
