It's Your Birthday

Audra had the monthly family party at her house in August and we all celebrated the Birthday's in the month.

August 21st happens to be my birthday and Uncle Dale has his birthday just a day after mine . Uncle Dale's son Wayne was also in town and we all had a chance to visit and welcome him .

Emerson had his first haircut today . I wasn't going to cut his hair for a while because I loved how curly it was . He had the softest blond curls in the back and by his ears. I got out the scissors just thinking that I would trim the fine baby hair where he slept at night because it was getting easily tangled. Well needless to say I got a little carried away and he ended up getting a full haircut. I must say he looks very handsome and more like a little man than a baby.

I love how Emerson is so drawn to David. Emerson takes such good care of David and all of his things. He makes sure to bring David anything that he thinks is important to him. His wallet , phone , keys he will say daddy with a serious look on his face and take it right to David. Immediately when David gets home from work or school Emerson runs up yelling Daddy , Daddy and gives him a big hug. He will randomly go cuddle or sit next to David and he never does this with anyone. He loves his Daddy so much and I love that they are little buddies.
I can't help but love Stratton's natural smile ! Makes me smile just looking at this picture. This is what happens when I try and get a picture taken with me and the boys . I was so tired of trying to convince Stratton to smile and keep his tounge in his mouth . So here it is a natural picture of me and the boys ...our everyday life ...CHAOS!
