Only Three?

The other night Stratton cracked me up as I over heard a conversation that he was having with David. During this entire pregnancy Stratton believes that he is also pregnant and has a baby in his belly . He is 100% sure and there really is no convincing him other wise. He will often tell me to hurry and come feel his baby moving . He will press around on his belly until he finds just the right spot and place my hand till I feel . It is too funny , he will also hunch over and start moaning with one hand on his butt and say , " ahhh, baby is getting on my nerves" . I love that he pays so close attention to what I do and say . Our little girl often finds herself a comfortable spot on my sciatica nerve and I will complain that she is sitting on my nerve. Stratton interprets this much differently then what I mean. Even though the pain is hard to bare when she finds herself comfortable on my sciatica . I never have said that our baby girl is getting on my nerves with a irritated tone. Funny how kids understand things much differently.
Stratton and David were in the bathroom and David was taking off his shirt to get into the shower when Stratton said , " Dad , you should get skinny like Mom and me " . David in return said , " Stratton I hate to break it to you but you really aren't that skinny . " Stratton replied saying , " Well , yeah that's because we pregnant " . David said , " Stratton , I hate to break it to you but you are not pregnant ". Stratton quickly repeated while walking away , " Dad you will see , you will see when my baby comes out ".

I loved this conversation that Stratton and David shared ...too funny and one that I never want to forget!

HA! He is such a funny kid. So funny how he mimics you, both with nursing and pregnancy...

My little girl likes to push on my sciatic nerve too, which also causes me to keel over, grab my butt and gasp or yell! I know just how you feel :( Poor you though, mine didn't start until just last week.
