A Brand New Year

I can't believe it is already 2012 ! A brand new year and a fresh new start on so many great things. I am always excited at the start of a new year to see just how the year plays out and I look forward to a new and exciting adventure. This year especially will be an exciting one for David and I . We recently signed a contract with one of David's big clients and it will be interesting to see what exactly happens with our business this year and its success. David has worked so hard on DMEHosting.com and I couldn't be more proud of his dedication and determination. I hope and pray that all of his long hours and sleepless nights will pay off for us.
David and I will also be looking for a house this year and hope to be able to buy one and be all moved in by this time next year. Wouldn't that be fantastic!

I look at my tiny little Charlotte and think this time next year she will be so big and probably even walking. I am taking advantage of just how sweet newborns are ! They cuddle all day , love you to hold them, don't talk back , don't throw tantrums and simply cry only if they need something. It is so wonderful and I know the innocence and sweetness of the newborn stage only comes around once in a lifetime. I can't believe that Stratton will start kindergarten next year and Emerson will begin preschool . Time goes by way too fast and I am reminded to enjoy each day as it comes.

Before the kids went to bed on New Years we lit off a bunch of Fireworks. The sparklers were a favorite and safe enough for both boys to hold.

We spent Christmas in Chandler this year so on new years we visited my parents in Pinetop to exchange gifts and wish each other a late Merry Christmas. Stratton got this cool shotgun from my parents for Christmas . He had been wanting this gun for months so needless to say he was very excited when he opened his present .

Don't mind the purple jacket Emerson has on in this picture . I got him out of bed right before we lit the fireworks off and the coat closet only had a little purple jacket that fit him just right.
We also went sledding and the boys loved it ! I loved it too , this was the first year that I could actually go sledding and was not pregnant.

This picture of Stratton and my Mom was taken just before they both came sliding down the hill. My Mom was sitting at the top of the hill on a sled so she wouldn't get her butt wet yet the plan backfired and she and Stratton both came sliding down. Stratton was so proud and was sure that he had helped my mom slow down so she wouldn't crash . He said he put his legs out and the breaks came on . He didn't want Grandma to get hurt !

We also went out to my sisters house and both of the boys rode their horses . I was inside chatting with my sister and one of her kids came in and told me Stratton was riding a horse. I was impressed with how brave he was and to my surprise when I went out side he was riding that horse bareback and all .
