Sweet Charlotte

Newborn Pictures of our sweet Charlotte. She is two and three weeks old in these pictures . I realized taking pictures of newborn babies is a lot tougher then I thought it would be . Charlotte for being 5 weeks early doesn't sleep very much . She is very alert and maybe that's why she came early she just doesn't want to miss a thing .
While taking her pictures, we had fun but it was also chaotic. I think it would be much easier taking pictures of other babies so their parents could do the feeding , calming , dressing , undressing and non stop diaper changes. Attempting to do all of these things and be the one taking the pictures was more work then I had anticipated .
Charlotte is such a sweet baby . She loves to be held but she never wants to be put down. I never experienced this with any of my other babies . She will be fed and sound asleep in my arms and within seconds of putting her down she is screaming . I pick her up and she is back to sleep or awake and perfectly content . This is especially taxing on me at night time because I am a human pacifier for 8 -10 hours each night . You can imagine how good I sleep with a 6 lb baby right next to me ? Sleep is light in fear of her nose or mouth accidentally getting covered. I talked to a few people about why and how I can get her in a routine of being content without me holding her. They all told me I would be pleasantly surprised when she meets her 40 week due date . Come January 17 maybe she will be more comfortable sleeping out of my arms. Six more days and maybe I will get an hour stretch of comfortable deep sleep...I guess we will see ?
