Sparklers

The Jones's invited us over for a fourth of July celebration and of course it was a good time. We ate a delicious BBQ , the kids played outside and the adults played games too. We lit off several sparklers with the kids in the backyard and then found the perfect spot just minutes away from Tumbleweed Park. Tumbleweed Park always has a huge Fourth of July festival for families. Last year we did go to it and it was a lot of fun but crazy busy. The fireworks ended and we had to wait an hour and a half just to get out of the parking lot making us get home way too late. I think we vowed that we would find a different solution for all subsequent years. We did just that and we finished watching the fireworks and were able to get home within 15 minutes. It was GREAT!

 

 

 

 Notice the torch lighter that Jeff and David decided to light the sparklers with . I think Jeff's Mom was starting to get a little concerned at this point.

 Once the sparklers started being lit , Charlotte started looking a little concerned.
